Unexpected Shipping Fees Upon Arrival

Due to a local postal strike where my order arrived I was asked to pay $45 COD which was more then my total order amount so I declined the delivery which was very upsetting as this was a Christmas gift for my son. When I reached out to Vencer they provided exceptional customer service as well were surprised with the COD. They fully refunded my order and sent me a gift card for my son to use at a future time to ensure the items can still be ordered.

I checked your order and it looks like it was attemted to deliver but was rejected due to expensive custom fees. We really apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We understand how the Canada Post Strike affected international orders which caused us to ship with UPS and since they are not affiliated with any government postal services they are required to pay customs and import fees on packages crossing international borders. This was just an unfortuante time for the Canada Post Strike which caused millions of people to pay extra in fees this holiday season in Canada. We would have 100% covered the fees if you reached out and let us know of this occurance. When we talked via email we ensured your order was refunded 100% and we also sent you an E-Gift card for any future purchases on our site. We believe our team was able to do what we could in this situation to make sure you are satisfiedd and had a good experience with our company out of this unfortunate event. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you as we are just trying our best to make a positive impact for young athletes!
